About Us

We serve pregnant mothers, infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children and their families in our center and home based programs.

Since 1972 Rosemount has worked with a diverse population in the District of Columbia.

Rosemount’s first Head Start Grant was received in 1986 and its first Early Head Start Grant was received in 1996.

The majority of Rosemount’s families are at or below poverty level and many are immigrant families from Central and South America, China, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and West Africa.

Rosemount offers a comprehensive program that includes parent involvement in creating an environment in the home that supports student learning.
