Special Needs Program at the Rosemount Center

• All children are screened for developmental delays within 45 days of enrollment
• Rosemount collaborates with DC Early Intervention and DCPS Early Stages Programs
• Rosemount has an inclusion model (Students with special needs are included in all facets of the program)
• Rosemount Staff participates in professional development regarding developmental disorders
• DC Early Intervention Providers work with children on site and consult with teachers on a regular basis
• DCPS Early Stages Staff consult with the classroom teachers on the implementation of the Individual Education Program
